Sephora called on their telephone land-lines and asked us
to help them launch Sephora Original’s new line of Hello Kitty beauty products.
We helped them gain awareness and ultimately sell out of all product with a
campaign called “Hello Kitty. Hello Pretty.” It included an online campaign, a
contest and a wildly successful eBay charity auction and blogger outreach. eBay
said it was the most successful marketing endeavor on their site to date. We
also learned that Hello Kitty has more rabid fans than the Chicago Bears and
Yankees put together. Just sayin’.
